TS #25 – The Flying Bugatti

We all know Bugatti as the luxury hypercar brand with a rich history. But did you know that Ettore Bugatti had designed an airplane under the Bugatti brand?

Meet the Bugatti Model 100, it was designed to be an air racer which would compete in the Deutsch de la Meurthe Cup Race. And this plane was no slouch (as expected from Bugatti) it was made to break record speeds of 450mph/ 724kmph. But alas, the onset of World War 2 brought an end to the life of this beauty before it’s it even began; makes you wonder what could’ve been if the Model 100 took to the skies.
